I noticed a few users were asking how well the paint job has held up. Unless the new bumper is some R.O.C. IMO I would hold off on the bedliner treatment on that new powder coated bumper. I sanded them with sandpaper, cleaned with alcohol, then sprayed rustoleum plastic primer, then the bed liner. It's been over a year since I sprayed mine with Rustolem Truck Bed Coating & They Look as good as the day I sprayed them. They look awesome. DAS Indonesia Motor kini menjadi APM Jeep. I want to do something like this but want more of a flat black to match flat black rims im getting. But next time I will be doing all the steps primer and multiple coats.

I havent done it with bedliner, but I have painted the plastic fender on my 07 and it worked fine. Should I actually sand or just use a green scrub pad to rough it up? Lasted longer than the jeep did sadly.

Im not sure but since the flares are relatively flexy I would imagine the bedliner cracking and flacking off if you somehow hit the flares.
It won't be as tough as bed liner, but it is easy to do and undo and might just be what you want. Typically these bumpers (steels aluminum etc) have been cheaply light coated and this powder coating will rust or wear off over time even fade. 8000 later it was back on the road like new. I know there have been plenty of posts already on rejuvenating tired stock fender flares via painting them.
