Hey just wanted to comment on this to say thanks for the walkthrough! Drill out 1/2" (13mm) holes, the first 3/4" up from the bottom and centered along the diagonal line, the second 1 1/2" away from that along the diagonal. I also threw in an extra corner block where they meet to maintain rigidity. The PS Challenge fits perfectly.
Please note that we are a small team of 3 people, therefore it is very simple to support us to maintain the activity and create future developments. how do these shifters work when the car has a 7or 8 speed gearbox? Also in a real car the shifter is closer in depth but further down. Personally I rarely use clutch and shifter on GTS (yet always do in the required cars in PC2 and AC) simply because the clutch is utterly unrealistic in GTS. Thanks again for posting the build! Should work for our right-hand drive friends as well if you mirror it in the slicer, but I havent personally tested that. Next, I grabbed two pieces of scrap from my wood pile, but you can easily find a small 1x4 board at the home center you will need ~10" (25.5cm) in length. I think I will make gear shifter attachment as well and your design will make it easy to swap between Hotas and gear shift. The futuristic thin, floating dash sports a 60Hz refresh rate, and is compatible with most mainstream sim racing titles.
