This Godmorgon cabinets are a bit tricky for the sinks. Ikea's willing to replace the sink but we'd have to remove it (after tile was installed around it) and frankly I'm thinking of leaving it's imperfection as a reminder of how priviledged we are to be worried about minor stuff like this. Their solution to customize anIKEA vanity is so pretty, buttheres much more in this room to love the square tile, that black door and the brass mirror, to name a few! These are used often in high end European baths and kitchens. Sharp!

There was Semihandmade. We went with 2 16" sinks. We knew we had to do something about it and fast! Our Ikea Godmorgon vanity with Semihandmade walnut veneer fronts and CB2 handles. (I'd rather not do an acrylic sink if I can help it.) We installed led rope lighting under the cabinets. Everything we looked at was either too expensive, in terrible condition, too big, or too small.

You visit IKEA and fall in love with something, but you dont buy it. Then after a bit of Googling and Pinterest searching boom! We matched these with the IKEA drain/strainer which simply pops in and out by hand inside the strainer. But a plumber I talked to said he's constantly repairing them and advises to stay away. Ikea has a good warranty so that would be the logical next step to pursue. Condition: Good: Minor blemishes that most people won't notice, Overall Dimensions: Width: 15.75 inches, Height: 75.62 inches, Depth: 12.62 inches. We place the mirror so that the folks that use it can actually see themselves in it. Regarding the blocking, you don't need extra blocking, just make sure there is solid framing where the cabinet attaches. I'd skip the faucet. It's unclear whether there needs to be a separate piece of plumbing purchased from them?

We matched these with the IKEA drain/strainer which simply pops in and out by hand inside the strainer. But a plumber I talked to said he's constantly repairing them and advises to stay away. For those curious about the details, I wanted to share 5 takeaways from our experience with our Ikea bathroom products so far. Although the Godmorgon is a floating-style vanity, I wanted it to look more like a freestanding vanity. Wasn't an issue for me because we had plenty of storage. Nothing major. They help break up the space, but they dont fit as perfect as pictured. I also decided to mix metals in here, so some of the hardware is gold and some of it is stainless steel. I think I can visualize what you're suggesting. One thing is the fabricator put a color enhancing sealer on it so a bit more gray than the actual slab. We ended up filing a warranty claim and IKEA upheld it! Do I need to purchase something from Ikea for the drain? does anyone have links of faucets that worked? We wanted to keep the floating look we love, so we picked up just one of these GODMORGON stainless steel legs. Our installer put an extra wood piece in the back to support. Condition: Good: Minor blemishes that most people won't notice, Overall Dimensions: Width: 15.75 inches, Height: 75.62 inches, Depth: 12.62 inches. We place the mirror so that the folks that use it can actually see themselves in it. Regarding the blocking, you don't need extra blocking, just make sure there is solid framing where the cabinet attaches. I'd skip the faucet. Get your legs lined up; get a solid block of wood that is just ~a hair~ below the vanity; gently start tapping in a wedge [cedar shims work best] to raise it enough to take out the sag; slide in your legs and attach them underneath.
